Summary
Anaconda is hiring a Senior GTM Compensation Manager to own sales compensation within our Finance team. You’ll be responsible for commissions calculation accuracy and the performance insights that help guide our Go-To-Market (GTM) direction. You’ll work between Finance, Sales Ops, and GTM leadership, and you’ll be the person the field trusts when a commission question comes up. This is a chance to apply your experience to the world of data science, AI, and machine learning.
What You’ll Do
- Own the commission program end-to-end. Run plan design input, quota crediting, payout, and audit, with accuracy and on a predictable cadence.
- Run our ICM system. Own the commissions database and system configuration, and keep the data clean. We use Everstage.
- Turn data into insights and direction. Analyze quota attainment, pipeline coverage, and sales performance, and bring leadership clear recommendations.
- Plan capacity. Model and forecast GTM headcount, productivity, and coverage against revenue goals.
- Be the point person for the field. Handle commissions questions and disputes, interpret plan policy, and explain the reasoning clearly to reps and sales leaders.
- Partner with the Revenue team. Be the glue to all things Compensation between the Revenue and Finance organizations.
- Use AI in your daily work. Apply AI tools to speed up commission audits, reconciliations, inquiry triage, and analysis, and share what works with the team.
- Build controls. Put checks in place that catch payout errors before they reach a paycheck.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Science, or another analytical field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in sales compensation, GTM finance, or GTM operations at a SaaS or high-growth software company
- Proven ownership of a commission function at a senior level, including plan administration, quota crediting, payout, and audit. You’ve done this before and can step in without a long ramp
- Experience administering an ICM platform. Experience using Everstage is a plus, and experience using both spreadsheets and more than one ICM tool is highly valued
- Advanced Excel/Sheets and modeling skills, plus a solid grasp of databases
[…]
