About the Role
BigPanda is looking for a Senior Director of Web & Digital Marketing who thinks in systems and builds for the future – not someone to run what we have, but someone to rethink it. This role is for a leader who is AI-native: someone who reaches for AI tools first, experiments relentlessly, and sees the current marketing technology landscape as an opportunity to rebuild smarter rather than extend what exists.

This is not a Marketing Operations role. Marketing Ops is a strong, dedicated function that owns the implementation of our tools and technology – this role works alongside them as a strategic partner, bringing the digital marketing expertise and external perspective needed to evaluate what belongs in our stack, what should be sunset, and what should be built differently. The website is the exception – this hire owns it directly, end-to-end. Everywhere else, the best outcomes come from this role and Marketing Ops thinking through the hard decisions together.

You will own our entire digital presence – web, paid media, search visibility, agency relationships, security, and compliance – and bring the clarity to know what to keep, what to replace, and what to build from scratch. This is a senior individual contributor role.

Areas of Accountability
Website, Design & Digital Experience
Own the BigPanda website as a business asset – responsible for its performance, design, evolution, and pipeline contribution. You bring a strong design sensibility and technical acumen. This includes leading a website redesign, managing the ongoing roadmap, and ensuring the site is continuously optimized for conversion. You set the vision and hold partners to it.

AI-Native Digital Strategy & Visibility
Own BigPanda's position in search – traditional, AI-generated, and answer engine. You don’t just optimize for where buyers have been; you anticipate where they’re going. You have a point of view on AEO and GEO, you understand how large language models surface and cite content, and you build the infrastructure to make BigPanda visible and credible across every surface that matters. You leverage AI tools to move faster, test more, and scale content and technical SEO in ways that weren’t possible two years ago.

Paid Media & Performance Marketing
Set and own our paid media strategy with a performance marketing discipline – clear accountability for pipeline contribution, ROI, and spend efficiency. You know how to build a paid program that scales, and you know when not to scale until the measurement infrastructure supports it.

Security, Compliance & Governance
Own the security posture of our digital properties and ensure compliance across regions – including GDPR, cookie consent, and data privacy requirements. Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $151,725 - $210,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
