Code for America is looking for a talented Director, Product Marketing who will will drive product marketing work across our full portfolio — from early-stage tools still being validated to more mature products — and across both the institutions we partner with and the people those products ultimately serve. In this role you will lead the go-to-market strategy and bring it to life, working closely with Product, Outreach, Program, and Marketing & Communications. As this function takes shape, you’ll decide important focus areas such as which delivery areas need what kind of support and what assets, processes, and/or capabilities we need to prioritize, for the highest impact.
About the role
Code for America's Director of Product Marketing leads how our products reach and are adopted by the government and institutional partners who use them and the clients they serve. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, you will work across our matrixed delivery organization, equipping Outreach and other frontline teams with the tools and messaging they need, and using data and experimentation to learn what works. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will be actively involved in the work, collaborating and partnering with internal teams and leadership, while building the practices, partnerships, and, over time, the team that allows product marketing to grow with our portfolio.
