Location - This role is hybrid and will be onsite 3 days per week from our Elmhurst or downtown Chicago location.

About the role

Lead Double Good's BI team toward one target state: every Monday, business users open certified Looker dashboards and AI-generated summaries for their function. This leader defines the 2-year BI strategy and roadmap to bring that vision to fruition.

Scope and Range: Double Good is a fundraising app paired with our own gourmet popcorn kitchens. Youth teams and schools fundraise in a few clicks, we cook and ship directly to supporters, and half of every dollar goes back to the youth organization.

The Manager, Business Intelligence reports to the VP of Data & Analytics and leads a high-performing team of 2-3 BI Analysts and BI & Analytics Engineers. The team owns the consumption layer: KPI definitions, certified Looker dashboards, self-service adoption, and insights. This role is the primary BI partner to the leaders of Product, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Sales. This is a player-coach role: you define the BI strategy, set priorities, develop the team, and still build in Looker and write SQL when it matters.

Target state: every Monday, business users open certified Looker dashboards and AI-generated summaries for their function. Every certified metric serves three readers: people, downstream forecasts and plans, and AI. The roadmap is driven by the Data & Analytics team's four impacts on the business: grow and keep organizers, ever-improving product, finance-grade unit economics, and demand-driven operations.
