Role
At Function Health, we’re building a next-generation imaging network where clinical precision meets operational excellence. As an MRI Specialist, you will serve as a central force in elevating imaging quality across all partnered imaging facilities.

This is not a traditional technologist role. You will operate at the intersection of clinical expertise, systems optimization, and education . From designing and standardizing protocols to solving complex safety scenarios and mentoring technologists, your work will directly shape the quality and consistency of MRI across a multi-site, multi-vendor environment.

This hybrid role combines remote clinical oversight with on-site engagement , including travel to onboard new facilities and ensuring sustained imaging excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Onboarding: Onboard new imaging sites, including protocol implementation and hands-on technologist training
• Protocol Optimization & Image Quality: Review and refine MRI protocols across multiple vendors (Siemens, GE, Philips, Canon, etc.) Optimize scan parameters to achieve superior image quality while maintaining efficiency. Drive standardization while adapting to site-specific constraints
• MRI Safety & Risk Management: Evaluate implant and device cases to ensure MRI safety. Promote and uphold MRI safety best practices across all sites
• Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement: Conduct routine image quality audi
