Role Summary

Overland AI is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join our Communications & Marketing (C&M) team and own how our products are positioned, messaged, and brought to market. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, storytelling, and go-to-market execution, with a mandate spanning messaging and positioning, sales enablement, content development, and campaign strategy.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be the connective tissue between our product, engineering, and business development teams and the external market. You will translate complex autonomy and vehicle capabilities into differentiated, mission-driven value propositions that resonate with defense customers, partners, and key stakeholders. You will also define and track the metrics that measure the impact of our marketing efforts across the funnel.
This is a strategic and hands-on role for a marketer who can move fluidly between crafting compelling messaging, building sales collateral, launching campaigns, and developing thought leadership. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning work from early concept through final delivery and thrives in a fast-moving environment where bold experimentation and cross-functional collaboration drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
Messaging and Positioning

• Own messaging and positioning for Overland AI vehicles across missions, customer segments, and key markets.
• Set the strategy for how the company and products are talked about both internally and externally, equipping teams with consistent, up-to-date information.
• Leverage insight from customer interviews and internal teams to craft messaging that increases engagement across communications and marketing channels, including the company website and social media platforms.
• Translate vehicle and ground autonomy capabilities into differentiated, mission-driven value propositions.

Product Marketing and Go-to-Market

• Partner closely with the Product and Engineering teams to understand upcoming features and

roductive relationships with both business development and product teams in previous roles, with a clear understanding of what made those partnerships effective.

• Experience collaborating with and sometimes managing small teams, including contractors.
• Fluency with marketing metrics, data tooling, and cross-functional reporting.
• History of rapid and bold experimentation to set strategies that produce step changes.
• Sharp written and verbal communication skills for engaging with both customers and executives.

Location

The preferred location for this position is Seattle, WA. Open to candidates in San Francisco, CA, New York City, or Washington D.C. Remote opportunities considered for exceptional candidates.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Range:
Product Marketing Manager: $120,000 - $154,000 annually
The salary range for this position is based on current Seattle, WA, labor market. Actual compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
