ABOUT PELOTON

As an Electrical Engineer II, you’ll help develop and validate the electrical systems that bring motion, connectivity, and intelligence to world-class fitness products that our customers love. We’re looking for a hands-on electrical engineer with experience in new product development who enjoys working in the lab, solving challenging technical problems, and turning designs into reliable production hardware.

In this role, you’ll work closely with senior electrical engineers as well as Mechanical, Firmware, Software, Product, and Manufacturing teams to develop, test, and troubleshoot electrical hardware. You’ll also collaborate directly with our global JDM and manufacturing partners during product development and prototype builds. If you enjoy hands-on engineering, learning across a broad range of electrical disciplines, and seeing products progress from prototypes to production, this is an opportunity to grow your technical expertise and take on increasing levels of engineering ownership.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Conduct hands-on electrical testing and validation using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and regulatory test equipment to characterize designs, identify issues, and verify product performance
  • Support the development of electrical systems and components, including schematic capture, component selection, design reviews, and occasional PCB layout or board modifications
  • Work with senior engineers, global vendors, JDM partners, and manufacturing teams to support prototype builds, design validation, issue resolution, and the transition of new products into production
  • Investigate electrical and system-level issues on existing products, methodically identify root causes, develop and validate solutions, and clearly document results in professional engineering reports
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, Firmware, Software, Quality, Compliance, and other engineering disciplines to solve multidisciplinary product-development challenges
  • Build expertise across a broad range of electronics disciplines while developing the technical judgment and project ownership needed to grow toward either advanced technical expertise or future project leadership

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS is a plus. 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in new product development, preferably within the consumer electronics, appliance, fitness, automotive, or similar industries
  • A strong interest in hands-on engineering and demonstrated experience building, testing, debugging, and modifying electrical hardware in the lab
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other electrical test equipment. Experience with regulatory or compliance test equipment is a plus
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools and the ability to make schematic or board-level design changes. Experience with Altium Designer is a plus
