About Sundays for Dogs
Sundays for Dogs is a founder-led brand reimagining pet food so dog owners can spend more quality time with their dogs—now and later. We make human-grade, air-dried food that supports long, healthy lives, and we're building a company that reflects how great teams should work: with low ego, high ownership, honest feedback, creative problem-solving, and a bias toward doing more with less.

Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we're a distributed team of 70 full-time employees across the U.S. While we work remotely day-to-day, we gather quarterly in person because relationships matter. Our subscription-based DTC model is our foundation. We're entering an exciting growth stage—expanding our product assortment, driving innovation, and thoughtfully opening new channels. We're building to scale with intention, and we're just getting started.

About your team and position

We're looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented Nutrition & Quality Specialist to join our Food Quality & Safety team at Sundays for Dogs.

In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for customers who have questions about our food, from ingredients and nutrition to product quality and safety. You'll use your veterinary background to translate complex scientific information into clear, accurate, and approachable answers that help pet parents feel confident about what they're feeding their dogs.

You'll work closely with our Customer Care team, serving as a technical resource for more complex inquiries while partnering with our Food Quality & Safety, R&D, and Veterinary teams to ensure we're delivering accurate, science-backed information.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your veterinary experience beyond the clinic, helping pet parents better understand the food they feed their dogs while directly contributing to the quality and safety of our products.

This is a fully-remote position with occasional trips to our headquarters in Cleveland, OH.
